It was a long hiatus.
Was busy since last Sunday, manning a booth for the department in the science fair the whole day on a beautiful weekend for an absurdly low wage. Well then, it is for charity, I told myself. It was interesting to see the children's expression, awestruck by the experiments displayed and engrossed by the gung-ho stage show. When I looked into those sparkling eyes of the boys when I said,"We buy this remote control chopper, and we throw away the remote contoller, still it could fly on its own." and they go "Wow! Really?", that really gave me the giggles and helped me pull the day through. How nice it would be if I were to bring this kind of exposure to the younger Malaysians one day.
Then the next day, I was like an expat cruising in citycabs from one place to the other, rushing for back-to-back meetings. Yes, I think it is time to go into the field, learn the traits and establish the networks. It was a fun ride and the experience is very rewarding, and I am really grateful towards the people I met along the way. The fun part is going out talking to people, the painful part though, is organising the information and report to the boss till 1 o'clock in the morning. It's tiring, but not without a reason. The groundwork has been laid.
It seems that now I am a grotesque assembly which reminds me of Frankenstein. This part in my life, is called charting the course.
ps: It's time to get a new hair cut, do some shopping, go home.
